How do you want to describe your child?

Before you can develop a game plan for raising your child- you need to think about what the end game will be.

What is the goal? What do you want for your son or daughter?  How would you describe them as an adult?

My daughter has significant disabilities.  When she was little,  I was asked fairly frequently what my goal was for her..... My answer never wavered: " I want her to be happy and healthy and have a reason to get out of bed in the morning"... Isn't that what all parents want for their children?

Since Jon and I started talking about writing this book we have talked with lots of parents and brainstormed the start of a list of descriptive words that parents want to use when describing their child...

Happy, healthy, driven, ambitious, kind, competitive, compassionate, smart, successful, brave, adventerous, confident, generous, purposeful, content, peaceful, assertive, aggressive, persevent, tenacious, spiritual...

What words would you use?
